Research/planning

Another comedy action film I decided to watch and study was Guardians of the galaxy 2. This movie is full of Aliens, guns, and comedic character. The film is just constantly throwing surprises at you. The opening scene is one of the best parts of the entire movie It starts out with the Universally loved character, Groot. He is dancing to a sound blasting in the background while looking all small and cute. While this is happening, there is a huge fight going on in the background. Aliens are going crazy and trying to kill people and other aliens, they are shooting, and and screaming, and falling down in slow mo. While all that is happening, Groot is still just dancing away to the song. This film can be a good inspiration, because everything going on in the scene is being contrasted. With the cute little character, the dancing, the chaotic fight going on, and all the great animated graphics, this scene is full of anticipation and excitement. So one way to incorporate that into our film is to add in a bunch of different things in a scene rather then just one serious scene or one funny scene.
The budget of the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 came to $200 million. The movie then made $863.7 million. So the director obviously knew what he was was doing, and the movie was a huge success.
