Distributing research

Traditional distribution would include films that are put out on things such as DVD's, and VCR's. This kind of distribution has had many advantages and made lots of profit. However, traditional distribution has become less and less popular. For instance, a couple years back, Blockbuster had closed down everywhere. This was a big deal for the fact that many people relied on that store to go rent some good movies for a Friday night. Digital distribution has become more popular due to the fact that so many people go on Netflix, Hulu, you tube, apple Tv, etc. It is a easier way of getting things, and sometimes you can some money by ding so. That is why traditional distribution is no longer used as much as digital. Though, traditional is still a good way of distribution because people still buy DVD's. For my group's project, the best way to distribute our film would probably be digital distribution. This is because digital distribution would cost less, and is ultimately the easiest distribution method for a film.
